We're here at Nokia's CES 2012 press announcement and we've got the confirmation that everyone's been waiting for: the Nokia Lumia 900 is real. It looks like the rumors were true: the AT&T exclusive phone is packing a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, 512MB RAM and Mango.

Camera-wise, there's an 8-megapixel camera 'round back with a 28mm f/2.2 Carl Zeiss lens (likely the same as on the Lumia 800) with a dual-LED flash and a front-facing f/2.4 wide-angle lens that's great for wide angle shots. The polycarbonate-bodied 900 has a single-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU inside, but the big surprise is that it's packing an LTE modem for all that high-speed internet goodness. There's a 1840mAH battery rated for seven hours talk and 300 standby. It'll arrive stateside in the next couple of months in those lovely black or cyan colors we've come to love from the 800 and no -- there's no word on pricing yet, but Stephen Elop did say Nokia would be "aggressive," make of that what you will folks. Sony Xperia Ion Review

Sony Xperia Ion is Sony's first Android Smartphone with no name after the Sony Ericsson Xperia S you can see the full review here. Sony phones that were introduced at CES 2012 Gadget Exhibition which took place in Las Vegas a few days ago, it has a fairly high spec, including gadgets and High-End Sony in 2012 this. In terms of screen, Sony is still using the screen-type LED-backlit LCD (same as the Xperia series before) a screen that is able to adjust the contrast with the light around it, so anything under the sun, the Sony Xperia Ion is still clearly visible. Interestingly, beyond the display, the specifications are not that impressive, and if anything, the good old Galaxy S2 seems faster on paper. Yet, the combination of new OS and new display is more than enough to make the Samsung Galaxy Nexus a one of a kind smartphone – at least for the next month or so. With a 4.65” display, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is much larger than the Nexus S (read our full Nexus S review). It is also noticeably heavier. Depending on the size of your hand, you may or may not like it. We have heard it both ways, but most people like it, and we do too. The Galaxy Nexus feels heavier and more sturdy than the Samsung Galaxy S2 for example, which may be good or not, depending on whether you prioritize weight or (perceived) sturdiness.

Interestingly, the back of the handset uses an ultra-thin plastic cover that can look and feel a bit fragile. However, We have never had any issues with this type of covers before, so we don’t expect problems there. At the top, you can clearly see the 5 Megapixel camera module, which is a curious choice as Samsung has clearly better in store, but we wouldn’t mind if the lower megapixel count was chosen for a higher light sensitivity – we shall see later in the review.

The front of the phone is very clean, without any Samsung or Verizon logo. Frankly, that’s the way it should be. If you pay $299 and lock yourself in a contract for 2 years, you clearly remember every day (or at least every month, when the bill comes) what your carrier is. Just like it was the case with the Nexus S, the curved glass design is beautiful, and we are surprised that Samsung doesn’t use it for other handsets. Notice that this phone does not have any physical buttons, which is a whole lot better than with previous Android phones which always had 4 buttons (Home, Back, Search and Menu). This means that we can get bigger displays within the same form factor. Hopefully, Windows Phone will follow.

There are few buttons on the side: just Volume controls on the left, and the Power button on the right. Unlike other Android smartphones, the buttons protrude just enough to be sensed by the finger, which is great, but this could be even better. The Power button is the single most used button on any handset, so it has to be practical and perfect.

There are no buttons or ports at the top, but the bottom of the phone has a micro-USB and a standard 3.5mm audio connector. Some prefer to have the audio on the top, but we find the bottom design to be convenient as well, and more natural to use – especially when storing the phone in pants pockets.

Design / new user interface: Android 4.0 delivers a beautiful revamped user interface with a significant number of improvements including a speedy responsiveness, nicer animations and a brand new typeface that finally got us rid of the tasteless Tron-style font displayed in Honeycomb.

New Typeface Roboto: Roboto, the new font designed by Christian Robertson, has been labeled “a Four-headed Frankenfont” by Stephen Coles, editor, Typographica. As a designer, we can see his point, the combinations of shapes are somewhat inconsistent throughout all the letters, however, we find his harsh comments a tad exaggerated. Although Roboto is a nice upgrade from what we had in Android 3.0, it displays a lack of personality, and using an existing font such as DIN would have been in fact better. we still find Microsoft’s typographic choices in Windows Phone 7 way superior than what the Android team did with Roboto in ICS. Last but not least, why modify its proportions for the clock on the lock screen? The result is visually horrible!

Lock screen: Android 4.0 comes with a lock screen that allows users to go directly into the camera app, or the home screen. This has been widely adopted by handset makers before Android 4.0, and it’s nice to see that Google has integrated it as a default option. From there you can also directly access the notifications by swiping down from the top of the screen. We would love to be able to add more apps, but we have not found an obvious way of doing it – we think that there is room for six. This is not perfect, but it is good progress.

Virtual buttons: Back, Home and Recent apps: The four physical buttons (back, menu, search, home) in Android’s previous version have been replaced by the three virtual icons already featured in Honeycomb: Back, Home and Recent apps.

Specifications and Review Acer Iconia A500, First Tablet Computer from Acer

We first saw Acer's 10-inch Android tablet five months ago -- when it didn't have so much as a name -- but by golly, it doesn't look like the hardware has aged a single day. In some ways, that's a wonderful thing, as we're big fans of the stylish brushed aluminum case, which plays off of the iPad aesthetic without looking like a blatant clone.

On the other hand, we were disappointed to find that a few of the iffy design decisions we noticed in earlier prototypes have carried over to the final frame -- that aluminum sandwich has very visible seams (one snagged an armhair) and the back sometimes creaks when squeezed. At 1.69 pounds and 13.3mm thick, the A500's most definitely portable, but still slightly heftier than the Xoom, and of course it feels positively portly beside an iPad 2. The rounded edges make single-handed reading possible, but the weight means you won't want to hold it over your bed. Enough of that for now, though -- let's describe what you're actually getting.

Acer Iconia A500 uses NVidia's Tegra processor Dual-Core 1 GHz. The connection has a micro USB port and HDMI. To support sound quality, this product is equipped with Dolby Mobile technology and stereo speakers. Camera two in front and rear that can be used for video calls and video recording 720p HD quality. Acer has been complete with a folder that allows users to manage applications and games Need for Speed HD, Hero of Sparta, and Let 's Golf. In addition, there are Social Jogger specially developed by Acer to facilitate the setting Twitter and Facebook.

Like most Android Honeycomb tablets, the Iconia Tab's front is all bezel and screen (and a tiny front-facing cam), intentionally designed without any buttons to let you hold and use the slate in any orientation. However, unlike most of its competitors the Iconia Tab has an orientation lock switch (on its "top" edge) to save you the trouble of digging through a software menu. There's also a volume rocker up top, which performs a neat orientation trick of its own -- it's contextual, meaning the switch changes volume up or down depending on how the tablet is held. Sadly, both of these buttons are made of cheap plastic, sunk into the aluminum frame, and rather difficult to press, which somewhat detracts from the generally classy feeling of the Iconia Tab. There's also a plastic flap right next to the buttons, where you can insert a microSD card (yes, they work out of the box) would store its SIM slot.

Moving onto the left side, we have the translucent power button, which doubles as the charging light, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a mini-HDMI port. We're slightly miffed that Acer couldn't cram a full-size HDMI socket in the copious space here, or at least include a mini-HDMI cable in the box. Regardless, the video connection works fairly well, performing full, responsive display mirroring at 720p resolution, albeit suffering from a bit of overscan. (Acer says 1080p video-out will be supported in a Q2 update.) On the bottom, there's just a docking connector for the optional charging dock with infrared remote, and on the right side you'll find the dedicated power jack and a pair of USB slots: one micro-USB to transfer data to the tablet, and one full-size USB port which connects with both your storage drives and keyboards right out of the box. (Again, you'll need to wait for an Acer update to enable USB mouse support.) Last but not least, the back has the Iconia Tab's ho-hum five megapixel camera with a single LED flash in the upper-right-hand corner -- more on that in a bit -- and a pair of silvery stereo speakers along the bottom edge.

Up until the Xoom, every Android tablet we'd reviewed suffered from behaving too much like a smartphone. Google's mobile operating system, its apps, and its developer tools were all geared for the small screen, and it showed.

With the introduction of Android 3.0 (aka Honeycomb), Google is showing its commitment to tablets. With the exception of legacy support for existing Android apps, Honeycomb is a dramatic departure from the Android of smartphones.

Even experienced Android users will need some time to get accustomed to Honeycomb's navigation. Gone is the familiar four-button navigation across the bottom of the screen. Contextual menus and options are accessed through the top of the screen, notifications pop out from the lower right, and the trusty old back arrow will occasionally morph into a down arrow when the keyboard is engaged, allowing you to conceal or reveal the keyboard.

REVIEW PLAYBOOK FROM RIM

Atmosphere Playbook true toughness can be directly felt when I first held this product. With less than 1 inch thick and weighing no more than 1 pound makes this device firmly in hand.

RIM still do not want to reveal what material they use to wrap the Playbook. Clearly not from the plastic cover behind it, but use some kind of solid rubber.

Review Movie "The Social Network" - Known to many as “The Facebook Movie,” David Fincher’s The Social Network is not about the creation of one of the internet’s most successful websites. It’s not about becoming the world’s youngest billionaire. It’s not about greed and it’s not about power. The Social Network is a film about the inescapable need for acceptance inside each one of us.

It’s the fall of 2003 and Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) is sitting in a bar with his girlfriend (Rooney Mara). He explains to her the importance of belonging to one of Harvard University’s eight prestigious all-male social societies called “final clubs”. Why? Because they’re “exclusive,” a word that Mark does battle with throughout the movie. Mark has a serious personality problem. To put it in psychological terms, he’s an asshole. Because of his intelligence, he gives off a stink of superiority and has no tolerance for those whom he thinks are beneath him (Read: everybody). He’s bullish and stubborn, which, of course, makes him unlikeable. His only option is to do something that makes people accept him.

Enter the Winklevoss twins (Armie Hammer). These 6’5” blonde Adonis’s are everything Mark is looking for: members of the Porcellian “final club”, future Olympic rowers, and holders of inherited money. They sit at the head of the cool kids’ table, shining examples of the kinds of people Mark wants attention from. He gets it after creating something called FaceMash.com, a small website so powerful it shuts down Harvard’s servers. The Winklevoss twins bring him in for a meeting with the Porcellian Club stairway and tell Mark their idea: create a social networking site defined by exclusivity, where women can find and meet Harvard men. It seems like everything Mark wants. But he’s not in a “final club,” he’s in a stairway. He’s not friends with the Winklevosses, he’s a business partner. He hasn’t been accepted – he’s been reached out to with a ten foot pole.

Whether because of his attitude or his approach, everything that Mark does to gain acceptance ends in rejection. He tells his girlfriend that being in a final club would allow her better access to the upper class, leading her to dump him. Mark’s first attempt to make a website in the film, a site where pictures of female Harvard students are posted next to each other and the users click on the girl that they think is the hottest, is wildly popular but results in every girl on campus seeing him as a sexist pig and their boyfriends repeatedly threatening him. Facebook is a billion dollar idea that winds up with Mark dealing with two simultaneous lawsuits, one of which comes from his best friend.

You may be tempted at this point to think of Mark Zuckerberg as a sympathetic character, a Willy Loman or Shelley Levene for the 21st century. Don’t be fooled - Mark Zuckerberg is a tyrant, an unstoppable force. Every effort Mark makes to gain acceptance winds up hurting someone; he is a serial bridge burner. Feeling disrespected by the Winklevosses, he morphs their idea and keeps them dangling on a string before cutting them off entirely. When his best friend and Facebook business partner, Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield), becomes a prospective final club member, gaining the acceptance that Mark craves, he begins to shut more and more doors, rejecting idea after idea, before Eduardo is left behind completely. Mark is attempting the impossible, trying to gain acceptance through rejection.

All of us can relate to Mark Zuckerberg. And that’s what will keep you engaged. You and I both want that same acceptance and equality Mark wants. Plenty of movies show that heavy is the head that wears the crown. We have enough movies where money goes to people’s heads and they espouse that greed is good. The Social Network outright rejects the tropes of power and money. Instead, Fincher and Sorkin have given us something that we can all understand and relate to: the costs of the desire for acceptance when it mutates into the blind ambition of social climbing. There are a finite number of slots on a baseball team roster, only so many seats available at the cool kids table, and we all want to be offered that last spot.

Sejarah, Pesona dan Mitos Kawah Gunung Kelimutu

Awal mulanya daerah ini diketemukan oleh orang lio Van Such Telen, warga negara Bapak Belanda Mama Lio , tahun 1915. Keindahannya dikenal luas setelah Y. Bouman melukiskan dalam tulisannya tahun 1929. Sejak saat itu wisatawan asing mulai datang menikmati danau yang dikenal angker bagi masyarakat setempat. Mereka yang datang bukan hanya pencinta keindahan, tetapi juga peneliti yang ingin tahu kejadian alam yang amat langka itu.
Kawasan Kelimutu telah ditetapkan menjadi Kawasan Konservasi Alam Nasional sejak 26 Februari 1992.

Gunung Kelimutu adalah gunung berapi yang terletak di Pulau Flores, Provinsi NTT, Indonesia. Lokasi gunung ini tepatnya di Desa Pemo, Kecamatan Kelimutu, Kabupaten Ende. Gunung ini memiliki tiga buah danau kawah di puncaknya. Danau ini dikenal dengan nama Danau Tiga Warna karena memiliki tiga warna yang berbeda, yaitu merah, biru, dan putih. Walaupun begitu, warna-warna tersebut selalu berubah-ubah seiring dengan perjalanan waktu.

Kelimutu merupakan gabungan kata dari "keli" yang berarti gunung dan kata "mutu" yang berarti mendidih. Menurut kepercayaan penduduk setempat, warna-warna pada danau Kelimutu memiliki arti masing-masing dan memiliki kekuatan alam yang sangat dahsyat.

Danau atau Tiwu Kelimutu di bagi atas tiga bagian yang sesuai dengan warna - warna yang ada di dalam danau. Danau berwarna biru atau "Tiwu Nuwa Muri Koo Fai" merupakan tempat berkumpulnya jiwa-jiwa muda-mudi yang telah meninggal. Danau yang berwarna merah atau "Tiwu Ata Polo" merupakan tempat berkumpulnya jiwa-jiwa orang yang telah meninggal dan selama ia hidup selalu melakukan kejahatan/tenung. Sedangkan danau berwarna putih atau "Tiwu Ata Mbupu" merupakan tempat berkumpulnya jiwa-jiwa orang tua yang telah meninggal.

Luas ketiga danau itu sekitar 1.051.000 meter persegi dengan volume air 1.292 juta meter kubik. Batas antar danau adalah dinding batu sempit yang mudah longsor. Dinding ini sangat terjal dengan sudut kemiringan 70 derajat. Ketinggian dinding danau berkisar antara 50 sampai 150 meter.

Untuk mencapai Gunung Kelimutu yang pernah meletus di tahun 1886 ini, butuh “perjuangan” tersendiri. Dari Kota Maumere, Kabupaten Sikka, Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, butuh waktu sekitar 3 jam dengan mobil sewaan dengan kondisi jalan yang tidak terlalu bagus, berkelak-kelok, melintasi jurang dan tebing. Kita akan menemui kampung terdekat dengan kawah gunung Kelimutu yang bernama Kampung Moni.

Kampung ini terletak di Desa Koanara, Kecamatan Wolowaru, Kabupaten Ende yang berjarak 13 kilometer dari Danau Kelimutu. Dari Moni hanya dibutuhkan waktu sekitar 45 menit untuk mencapai bibir Danau Kelimutu.

Selain dari Maumere, Kelimutu juga dapat dicapai dari Ende menggunakan bus antarkota ataupun kendaraan sewaan, dengan harga dan waktu perjalanan yang relatif tidak jauh berbeda. Dari ibukota Propinsi NTT, yakni Kupang, pengunjung dapat menggunakan pesawat menuju kota Ende, di Pulau Flores, dengan waktu tempuh mencapai 40 menit. Kelimutu terletak sekitar 66 kilometer dari Kota Ende dan 83 kilometer dari Kota Maumere.

Masyarakat Kecamatan Moni, Kabupaten Ende, Nusa Tenggara Timur meyakini bakal terjadi bencana besar yang melanda negeri ini. Percaya atau tidak, keresahan itu terkait dengan perubahan warna tiga danau Kelimutu yang terjadi saat ini. Dahulu, tiga danau kebanggaan warga Ende itu masing-masing memancarkan warna berbeda, yakni merah-hijau-biru. Namun saat ini, ketiganya menjadi satu warna: hijau muda.

“Bakal ada bencana yang menelan korban cukup banyak,” kata salah seorang warga Desa Woloara, Kecamatan Kelimutu, yang berumur 56 tahun. Dia mengisahkan, pada akhir 1964 juga terjadi perubahan warna seperti saat ini. Setahun kemudian, malapetaka besar menimpa bangsa Indonesia dengan adanya kemelut Partai Komunis Indonesia. “Setelah peristiwa PKI, warna air Danau Kelimutu kembali normal,” ujar Mbate.

Peristiwa serupa terjadi pada 1992 silam. Seiring dengan perubahan warna danau tersebut, gempa bumi dahsyat mengguncang Pulau Flores yang menelan banyak korban jiwa. “Gempa dan tsunami itu memorakporandakan warga Flores. Tercatat 2.000 jiwa warga jadi korban,” imbuh salah seorang lainnya.

Warga Moni lainnya yang berumur 56 tahun, menambahkan bahwa perubahan warna yang terjadi saat ini mengingatkan warga Indonesia untuk waspada. Menurutnya, dari pengalaman, perubahan warna Danau Kelimutu mengundang bencana besar. Ayah lima anak dan enam cucu itu menuturkan, sesungguhnya para penghuni kawah Tiwu Ata Polo dan Tiwu Nua Muri Koo Fai (dua dari tiga danau di Kelimutu) marah. Penyebabnya, warga adat pemilik Kelimutu sudah lama tidak melakukan ritual adat Pati K’a Konde. “Sekarang saatnya menggelar upacara adat untuk meminta maaf agar bencana yang datang tidak lebih ganas dibanding sebelumnya,” ungkapnya.

As everyone should now well know, the bringers of all the bad weather to come will be the nefarious Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) and his Death Eaters. Having done away with Harry's longtime mentor Dumbledore at the close of The Half-Blood Prince, the villains of the tale are now poised for complete domination.

Knowing he has been marked for death by Voldemort, Harry's only chance of survival is to embark upon an arduous trek that will take him far away from Hogwarts.

The ultimate goal of this odyssey is to find and destroy a series of elusive magical objects known as the Horcruxes.

Should Harry complete his mission, Voldemort will vanish forever. However, nothing in The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is as cut and dried as it seems. And nor will the most pressing matters be resolved in anything resembling a hurry.

After all, there are many familiar faces - major and minor, good and bad - from across the series to bid farewell.

And by virtue of all the extra time at the filmmakers' disposal, an opportunity to cram in almost every last detail of Rowling's writing has been taken.

Purists who have always felt the Potter films were too rushed compared to the books will be delighted by the sheer depth of material that makes it to the screen here.

However, with the Hogwarts school no longer serving as a friendly, familiar backdrop for the story, the look and feel of Deathly Hallows is much darker and less accessible than any prior Potter picture.

The first act, which is certainly no easygoing picnic, at least does showcase the film at its most lively and exciting.

A sequence where Harry escapes a Death Eater ambush is sure to become an all-time favourite with fans. Mad-Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson) persuades several of Harry's friends to drink a potion that will make them all look like the bespectacled boy-wonder.

A thrilling night-time chase across the skies follows, with the infuriated Death Eaters (zooming about like comets fired from a crematorium) unable to tell who is the real Potter.

Later, with Harry, Hermione and Ron fully committed to their marathon pursuit of the Horcruxes, events play out in a bleak and sometimes quietly introspective manner.

During this decidedly downbeat section of the picture, there is only a handful of scenes to truly seize upon and savour. These include the welcome return of heroic house-elf Dobby (voiced by Toby Jones), and a superbly-filmed incursion by Harry and company inside the bunker-like Ministry of Magic.

Normally, there is no real point in mentioning the calibre of performance exhibited by the franchise's three young leads. Radcliffe, Grint and Watson have had to grow into their respective roles on their own terms, in their own time.

However, now that the curtain is closing on what will probably stand as the major work of their respective careers, it is interesting to note how far their skills have evolved since the innocuous days of The Philosopher's Stone.

Any real drawbacks for anyone still undecided about the Potter phenomenon? Only that Part 1's lengthy running time of almost 150 minutes is perhaps a half-hour too long for a film promising no direct resolution by the final credits.

However, with so many devotees wishing the series could go on forever, a delaying of the inevitable will disappoint very few indeed.

And according to a report on the Wall Street Journal, the company is preparing to announce that its iTunes Store will soon start carrying music by the Beatles, according to people familiar with the situation -- a move that would fill in a glaring gap in the collection of the world's largest music retailer.

The deal resulted from talks that were taking place as recently as last week among executives of Apple, the Journal reported, including representatives of the Beatles and their record label, EMI Group, sources who also warned that there is still a chance that Apple could change plans at the last minute.

Spokesmen for Apple, EMI and Paul McCartney declined to comment.

The agreement represents a watershed in a fraught, decades-long relationship between two of the biggest icons in their respective fields. The two sides have traded lawsuits since 1978, when the Beatles alleged that the computer maker, then known as Apple Computer, infringed on the band's trademark. That's because the Beatles in 1968 created a wholly owned entity called Apple Corps Ltd., that acted as an arts-promotion company and owned Apple Records. Though EMI retained ownership of the Beatles recordings, the Apple logo was printed on their albums.

(ANTARA/Reuters) A stellar explosion 30 years ago in nearby galaxies suspected of creating a new black hole, astronomers reported on Monday.

The observations made by infrared rays say supernova, dubbed SN 1979C is a black hole is formed, said a team of astronomers from the United States and Europe.

"If our assumptions are correct, it is the closest example for observation of the creation of a black hole," said an expert from the Harvard-Smithsonian Astrophysics Center in Massachusetts, Daniel Patnaude, who led the study.

An amateur astronomer from Maryland, Gus Johnson, discovered a supernova in 1979 on the edge of a galaxy called M100, and other astronomers examine it after its discovery. Light and infrared rays from the fragments has taken over the past 50 million years to get to the earth with the light speed of 300,000 miles per second, or about 10 trillion miles per year.

Observation Center for NASA's Chandra Infra Rays, the European Space Agency XMM-Newton, and the Center of the German Rosat Observations have seen that it emits infrared rays stable source of light.

Infrared ray analysis supports the idea that the observed object is a black hole and it also will draw in the object that fell from a supernova or perhaps from a binary star, astronomers said.

The scientists believe that black holes can be created in several ways, in this case because a star which is about 20 times the mass of the Sun which will become a supernova and then explodes into some solid things that suck objects around them into the core of the black hole .

KPK names Bekasi Mayor a graft suspect

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) names Bekasi Mayor Mochtar Muhammad a suspect of a corruption case in relation with Adipura cleanliness award.

“We named MM a suspect in a case of alleged corruption of using Bekasi 2010 budget to win 2010 Adipura cleanliness award,” KPK spokesman Johan Budi said Monday, referring to Bekasi Mayor Mochtar Muhammad.

KPK suspected that the mayor had promised something in return for Bekasi’s victory in the national cleanliness competition called Adipura.

“We believed he used the local budget to bribe officials,” Johan said. However, Johan said that he did not know who the officials were.

Previously, KPK investigated his involvement in the case, as well as his role in another case of bribery to influence auditors at the West Java Supreme Audit Agency to unconditionally approve the municipality’s 2009 financial report.

Dalam surah Ash Shaffat 100-111, Allah swt. menggambarkan kejujuran nabi Ibrahim dalam melaksanakan ibadah kurban. Indikatornya dua hal:

Pertama, al istijabah al fauriyah yakni kesigapannya dalam melaksanakan perintah Allah sampai pun harus menyembelih putra kesayangannya.

Ini nampak ketika Nabi Ibrahim A.S langsung menemui putranya Ismail begitu mendapatkan perintah untuk menyembelihnya. Di saat yang sama ia langsung menawarkan perintah tersebut kepadanya. Allah berfirman:

“Maka tatkala anak itu sampai (pada umur sanggup) berusaha bersama-sama Ibrahim, Ibrahim berkata: “Hai anakku sesungguhnya aku melihat dalam mimpi bahwa aku menyembelihmu. Maka fikirkanlah apa pendapatmu!”

Di sanalah hakikat kehambaan benar-benar nampak. Bahwa sang hamba tidak ada pilihan kecuali patuh secara tulus kepada Tuhannya. Suatu teladan kehambaan yang harus ditiru setiap orang beriman yang berjuang menuju derajat kehambaan. Karenanya pada ayat 100 setelah itu, Allah SWT menegaskan bahwa keduanya benar-benar hamba-Nya, Allah berfirman: “Sesungguhnya ia termasuk hamba-hamba Kami yang beriman.”

Dari sini nampak bahwa untuk mencapai derajat kehambaan sejati, tidak ada lain kecuali dengan membuktikan al istijabah al fauriyyah dan shidqul istislam. Nabi Ibrahim dan nabi Ismail telah membuktikan kedua hal tersebut. Allah swt. yang Maha Mengetahui telah merekamnya. Bila Allah yang mendeklarasikannya maka itu persaksian yang paling akurat. Tidak perlu diperbincangkan lagi. Bahkan Allah swt. mengabadikannya dengan menjadikan hari raya Idul Adha. Supaya semua hamba Allah setiap tahun selalu bercermin kepada nabi Ibrahim dan nabi Ismail.

Dengan demikian, esensi Idul Adha bukan semata ritual penyembelihan kurban, melainkan lebih dari itu, membangun semangat kehambaan Nabi Ibrahim dan Nabi Ismail dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Yang perlu dikritisi dalam hal ini, adalah bahwa banyak orang Islam masih mengambil sisi ritualnya saja, sementara esensi kehambaanya dilupakan. Sehingga setiap tahun umat Islam merayakan Idul Adha, tetapi prilaku kesehariannya menginjak-injak ajaran Allah swt. Apa-apa yang Allah haramkan dengan mudah dilanggar. Dan apa-apa yang Allah perintahkan diabaikan. Bukankah Allah berfirman udkhuluu fissilmi kaafaah? Tapi di manakah makna kaffah itu dalam dataran kehidupan umat Islam? Karena itu, setiap kita memasuki hari raya Idul Adha, yang pertama kali harus kita gelar adalah semangat kehambaan yang kaffah kepada Allah. Bukan kehambaan sepenggal-sepenggal, atau kehambaan musiman.

Berapa banyak orang Islam yang rajin mentaati Allah di bulan Ramadhan saja, sementara di luar Ramadhan tidak demikian.

Berapa banyak orang Islam yang rajin ke masjid selama di Makkah saja, sementara setelah kembali ke negerinya, mereka kembali berani berbuat dosa tanpa merasa takut sedikitpun. Wallahu a’lam bishshawab.

Air New Zealand Crash in France Due to Pilot Error

(AFP) - French prosecutors said they would not press charges against anyone over a 2008 Air New Zealand crash after they received an investigators' report that blamed pilot error.

The crew lost control of the Airbus A320 and crashed it -- killing all seven people on board -- as they tried to perform a low-speed test "in inappropriate conditions" off France's Mediterranean coast, the prosecutors said.

They cited a report by experts appointed by a court in Perpignan, near the site of the November 27, 2008 crash.

The expert report, drawn up for a criminal investigation for manslaughter run by the prosecutor?s office, essentially agrees with air safety investigators who in their ongoing parallel probe have blamed human error.

The air-accident investigation bureau (BEA) said in its interim report based on black box data recorder readings that the plane stalled during a low-speed, low-altitude test manoeuvre as it was coming in to land at Perpignan airport.

The BEA's final report into the accident is due to be delivered by the end of the year.

Air New Zealand said it was unable to comment on the findings until the final report is issued because of a confidentiality agreement under French law.

Five New Zealanders and two Germans were killed when the twin-engine plane they were testing plunged into the sea.

The plane had gone to France for tests and to be repainted in the colours of Air New Zealand before heading to Germany from where it was scheduled to leave for New Zealand.

The experts' report presented in Perpignan largely matched the conclusions of the BEA interim report.

It said the plane should have been flying at an altitude of 5,200 metres (14,000 feet) in order to carry out the manoeuvre that led to its crash but was instead at 600 metres, prosecutor Domnique Alzeari told reporters in Perpignan.

That was too low to recover from the stall, he said.

The report spoke of "an inappropriate test, in unsuitable conditions, with a manoeuvre carried out in an unprepared manner, which made it all the more perilous," said Alzeari.

He also said that faulty sensors essential for the plane's computerised flying system might also be partly to blame for the crash.

Two of the three sensors were not working and thus the excessive pitching "could not be corrected by the electronic brain of the aircraft", said the prosecutor.

He said the malfunctioning of the two monitors could be "linked to cleaning operations" on the plane the day before the crash but insisted that "the accident is not due to a maintenance or design problem of the aircraft".

There was speculation after the crash that one or more of the plane's sensors might have been painted over as the jet was repainted in Air New Zealand colours.

Alzeari said his office had no plans to indict anyone in the manslaughter investigation that had been opened in the wake of the crash.

He noted that families of the victims or other parties had three months in which to request alternative expert opinions on the causes of the crash.

An examining judge and lawyers for various parties involved will now study the experts' report and any further expert opinion that may be submitted.

Built in 2005, the plane had been leased to German charter firm XL Airways since 2006.

It had been undergoing servicing at EAS Industries in Perpignan and had been flying test circuits before it crashed.
